Mary's 60th Birthday!

Today was my mother-in-law's 60th birthday! All of the Petty siblings and their families got together to throw her a surprise party! Gil had a great time running around with all his cousins and getting to get loves from his G'me Mary.

Cheescake Factory

On Saturday night Gil and I went to Cheesecake Factory with Andy and Sarah and one of their couple friends. It was delicious! I got to have my favorite peach smoothie...YUM! Gil LOVED it as well and he also discovered ranch dressing. It may be his new favorite thing. He started out dipping his fries into the ranch and ended up just shoving his whole hand in it and licking it off. He also has discovered peek-a-boo again and will entertain himself with it for a long time. He'll just sit there and laugh at himself.

Zoo Time

Last week we got an invite from Thomas and Kimmie and Hallie to go to the zoo, so off we went. Even though it was a chilly and cloudy day it was great fun, especially since there was absolutely nobody at the zoo. We were able to get great pictures and see the animals up close without worrying about being in anyone's way. All the animals were playful and not hiding from the heat. Gil and Hallie had a great time hanging out as well.

Birthday Petty Style

A couple of weeks ago we had a big birthday party for Gil, Melissa (sister-in-law), Aunt Melissa (Will's Aunt) and Hallie (My new niece). We all had a grand time celebrating with everyone and Gil enjoyed all of his many presents. It's always a good time with the Petty clan and we look forward to getting together any chance we get. Love you guys!

Growing Up

Our little Gil is growing up so fast. He is constantly watching us and learning how to do new things. Gil is 13 months old today and this last week he has started doing so many things he's never done before. We love him so much! I'll be updating more about what has been happening in our lives...sorry I haven't been posting anything for a while.
